In recent weeks, we collaborated with students from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA University) in designing and testing the rocket they presented at the #SpaceportAmericaCup.
Over several sessions, we hosted the students at our LIA facilities in the Morón Aeronautical Park. Our amazing team from Propulsion, Assembly, Integration and Test was there to guide and support them during the rocket tests, ensuring everything was in top condition for the competition.
And they did it! The ITBA group became the first Latin American team to launch a rocket powered by a hybrid engine at the Spaceport America Cup. They designed and built the rocket, the launch tower, and all the ground systems. 💪🛠️
